Sonic Stace (Stathi Vassiliadis) grew up in the 1980s, deeply influenced by the lush sounds of wave and synth-pop icons like Depeche Mode and The Cure. That distinct British alternative edge remains a defining mark of his music to this day, subtly woven alongside the vibrant Greek melodies that echoed through his childhood home.

His musical trajectory shifted dramatically in the late ’80s when rock music entered the picture. Guns N‘ Roses set things in motion with „Sweet Child O‘ Mine“—and after seeing Slash in the iconic music video, Stace picked up his first guitar in late 1989. While he never turns down a chance to tear through a great solo, the guitar quickly became something even greater: his primary instrument for storytelling and songcraft.

Throughout his teens and twenties, Stace sharpened his craft fronting and playing in various bands. By 2009, backed by years of live experience, he stepped into the role of a true „one-man band,“ arranging and producing his material independently.
